Divorcee Loes (Susan Visser) has lost all faith in love. When her daughter Maartje (Abbey Hoes) plans to get married to a Cuban (Rolf Sanchez), Loes becomes suspicious of his motives. She heads to Cuba to stop her daughter making a terrible mistake. However, once in exotic Cuba, Loes finds herself learning more about love and romance than she ever expected.
